Write a ReviewWe carried out screeding and external rendering works on a commercial site for CPP, completing everything within the agreed timeframe and to the spec provided. Unfortunately, once the job was signed off, payment became a real issue. Despite chasing on multiple occasions, we were left waiting nearly 60 days past the agreed terms. Calls and emails were acknowledged but not actioned. As a small business, this kind of delay creates serious knock-on effects with our own staff. There was no dispute over the quality of work, just an unwillingness to pay on time. A disappointing experience.
Contacted to complete a series of electrical installation works across two residential units. The project itself progressed without issue, and all agreed work was completed on time and to specification. However, following submission of my final invoice, communication began to slow. Despite multiple follow-ups via phone and email, payment was delayed by over 45 days beyond the agreed 30-day term. While I did eventually receive payment, the extended delay caused unnecessary cash flow pressure and wasted time in chasing. For a relatively straightforward job, I expected better. I would advise others to proceed with caution and ensure robust payment terms and staged payments are agreed upfront.
